Here is the beautiful limited edition coral bag from the Keepsakes Mac collection that I had been dying to get my hands on.. The colour of the lipstick was definitely the first thing to draw me in and then upon receiving it, it was the lip liner that really had me! The bag is so pretty - white & sparkly. It just reminds me of freshly laid snow at night when the light bounces off it and makes it look like little diamonds <3 I sound so cheesy but it totally gives me that 'Christmassy' feeling all over again! 

I personally didn't like the finish of the lipstick as its a cremesheen and i have quite badly chapped lips and when I applied it all you could see are cracks everywhere! I will probably use this during the summertime when my lips are in much better condition and don't show so badly! The colour was very sheer too i would have loved this if it was a matte finish no doubt.. I love my opaque lipsticks haha :) The lip liner on the other hand was amazingly pigmented and is a very vivid orange and almost coral coloured. It applied nicely and evenly and lasted for quite a while. It of course outlasted the lipstick.. The lipglass however, didn't look to me as if it would really go with either the liner or the lipstick as it's quite a peachy nude coral if that makes ANY sense..? I found that the lipglass was quite runny if I applied to much it would actually 'leak' off my lips so I had to try and apply a small amount of it! 

I would have to say I'm not as pleased with this kit as I thought I would have been.. The colours looked perfect for me as corals are some of my favourites! Sadly the finish of the lipstick and the longevity of it really isnt worth it to me - and its definitely not for people with chapped lips! The lip liner was perfection for me, I could probably wear that all over as a lipstick! The lipglass is so pretty but I don't think i'll be wearing it along with either the lippie or liner from this kit! :)

 Overall for packaging and the contents I'd score a 6/10 - If you love corals and love cremesheems this bag is 100% made for you!

MAC Cosmetics 'Revealing' Lipglass

I'd like to start off this post by letting everyone know I received an email this morning about my college course interview... I have my second and final interview in two weeks time. I really hope I do well but I am nervous to do someone else's makeup as a task as I have only done it once before! I also have a mood board and face chart to do before hand.. Another thing I have no experience in (face charts!).

MAC Cosmetics 'Revealing' Lipglass 

This lipglass was sent to me by my wonderful sponsor not only to review the actual gloss but to go over a touchy subject - Fake Mac.

 At first glance all is well, until it's opened. My boyfriend was my guinea pig to compare the smell of my 'Viva Glam Gaga' (pink) lipglass and this one. His first reaction was 'Waxy', exactly as I thought. But this may surprise many when I tell them, this lipglass isn't a fake at all.

I really like this lipglass (excluding the lingering smell!). It applies so easily and just glides on. It goes on evenly and applies well with just one application. The colour is opaque and the finish is high shine.The lipglass lasted for just over one hour and a half which is quite a short term wearing lipglass but I reapplied. 

I paired it with a nude-brown smokey eye and winged eye liner (my usual eye look). Most Mac lipglasses are quite sticky but this one seems to feel quite light and creamy. This nudey colour is the opposite from what I would usually pick but.. I think it really suits my skin tones and has made me more interested in nude lip colours.

This lipglass has become one of my go-to lipglosses as it pairs with a lot of different looks and adds a little 'something'. I really like this and rate it 8/10. I marked it down for two reasons. One being the smell and also it doesn't last very long.

Hi everyone, I apologize for not posting in a while. I have been busy working and I had an interview at college for a Makeup Artistry course yesterday. I had to do a project for the interview and it took me a few weeks to finish it as I wanted perfection (as usual..). 

Fingers crossed I get into the next practical interview! :)

MAC's So Very Good lipstick is a creamy plummy brown. It has a slight shimmer in it which doesn't show up very much once applied and also has a hint of red. The application was flawless and I only needed one application as it is very pigmented. It lasted for over 7 hours but I then reapplied. After so many hours of wear, I was surprised my lips hadn't bled or dried out, thanks to the formula!

 This pairs beautifully with a toned down brown smokey eye.

This is my first pro longwear lipstick from MAC and I have loved it so far. The biggest difference is the shape of the lipstick and tube. It is circular in shape and some may find this challenging to apply if they have thinner lips.  

I give this lipstick an overall rating of 9.5/10! It's a tremendous score for a terrific lipstick.

Anyone thinking of buying a pro longwear lipstick should go for it as this has done me proud.

MAC Magenta Lip Pencil

MAC Cosmetics 'Magenta' Lip Liner

This colour really pulled me in. 

It is a beautiful purple-pink shade and can be paired with MAC's Girl About Town, Rebel, Impassioned & Heroine. I have personally only used this lip pencil with Heroine, but the combination is stunning. It applies smoothly and prevents the lipstick from bleeding. It lasted for 5 hours and needed a little re-application. The great thing about this lip pencil is if you struggle to find a lipstick to pair it with, you can apply the pencil all over instead. I found it neither drying nor hydrating. The texture is soft and the application of the colour is opaque.

 I have many other MAC lip pencil's but this one is by far the boldest colour I own. It can be quite an intimidating colour if you are just starting to use lip liners, but if you are looking for a fushia type pencil to pair with a new lipstick, I say go for it. I always try and use a liner to stop the lipstick from bleeding and to get the perfect lip shape. I would give this lip liner 7.5 out of ten. I do really like it for it's bold colour but I am just not that greatly impressed. Also, having to reapply it after 5 hours just isn't ideal if you are out and about.
