Here is the beautiful limited edition coral bag from the Keepsakes Mac collection that I had been dying to get my hands on.. The colour of the lipstick was definitely the first thing to draw me in and then upon receiving it, it was the lip liner that really had me! The bag is so pretty - white & sparkly. It just reminds me of freshly laid snow at night when the light bounces off it and makes it look like little diamonds <3 I sound so cheesy but it totally gives me that 'Christmassy' feeling all over again! 

I personally didn't like the finish of the lipstick as its a cremesheen and i have quite badly chapped lips and when I applied it all you could see are cracks everywhere! I will probably use this during the summertime when my lips are in much better condition and don't show so badly! The colour was very sheer too i would have loved this if it was a matte finish no doubt.. I love my opaque lipsticks haha :) The lip liner on the other hand was amazingly pigmented and is a very vivid orange and almost coral coloured. It applied nicely and evenly and lasted for quite a while. It of course outlasted the lipstick.. The lipglass however, didn't look to me as if it would really go with either the liner or the lipstick as it's quite a peachy nude coral if that makes ANY sense..? I found that the lipglass was quite runny if I applied to much it would actually 'leak' off my lips so I had to try and apply a small amount of it! 

I would have to say I'm not as pleased with this kit as I thought I would have been.. The colours looked perfect for me as corals are some of my favourites! Sadly the finish of the lipstick and the longevity of it really isnt worth it to me - and its definitely not for people with chapped lips! The lip liner was perfection for me, I could probably wear that all over as a lipstick! The lipglass is so pretty but I don't think i'll be wearing it along with either the lippie or liner from this kit! :)

 Overall for packaging and the contents I'd score a 6/10 - If you love corals and love cremesheems this bag is 100% made for you!

Been Away For Some Time..

Been Away For Some Time..

Hello to you all! I am so sorry I haven't blogged in a while..

Sadly, a week after my last post I lost someone dear to me and I couldn't really do much and blogging, honestly, was the last thing on my mind. :(

But now I'm feeling refreshed and my head is clear and I'm feeling more positive about things.

I have just started back at college and I'm hoping that this next semester won't be as rushed and crazy like the last! I'm hoping to work hard but also to have time to do my own things out of college too! ;)

I will be reviewing a few items in the next few days including some of the holiday collection that I had time to post pictures of but not reviews & some items sent from my lovely sponsor (thank you! :D) - also I have ordered the Mac Cosmetics Bollydoll Brush Kit and I am SUPER excited about that!

I finally received my Mac No Faux Pas lipstick today!

It arrived in a HUGE box and made me wonder what else I had ordered, 

but it was only one lipstick! I'm still expecting the coral lip bag and I should be receiving it 

sometime next week!

I just received my Mac Heirloom Mix & Keepsakes order today! 

Sadly one of the lipstick boxes was empty.. but I contacted Mac and they are sending me out another one this week! Woohoo! Here's a look at what I got! I will add pictures of the other lipstick when I receive it :)

First is the Keepsakes Hanging Travel Bag

 Even the box is stunning and sparkly, I am in love!
